Weekly Progress

Week 6

New week, new me! Since I slacked off for about two weeks, I was very motivated to try and accomplish the three habits each and every day. Some days were definitely harder than others but overall, I think I succeeded.

I have taken my probiotics once every day in the morning this last week. As for the repercussions, my stomach has been reacting surprisingly well and my restroom use has been consistent. I thought that due to the inconsistency the past two weeks, I would be back at square one with horrible stomach aches but not at all. My stomach was actually acting better than I ever imagined. I kind of think it also has to do with intermittent fasting. I remember before this implementation, I was indulging in late night snacks and not the healthiest of snacks which really affected my digestion. However, with the addition of this fasting and probiotics, my gut has been doing exceptionally well. I would truly recommend these two habits for anyone who either want to improve their overall health or simply just limit their food intake. Intermittent fasting really helped me this week to manage the foods that enter my body. Since I have such a limited gap to eat, I want to ensure that my body is filled with the right nutrients to help uplift the rest of my days.

As for my water intake, it’s a progress. Because of the fact that I missed so many days the last two weeks, it’s hard to get back into the rhythm of drinking a sufficient amount. I can tell from the lack of water that my mouth has been drier, I have been using the restroom less, and my headaches were more severe. Past week I’ve been drinking around 48 oz which is around two water bottles, definitely not enough. I just need to stay more consistent and I’m pretty sure I will be drinking 64 oz or more in no time! Just have to stay positive! Remind yourself that these healthy lifestyles changes are to benefit not only you but the people around you!
